2006-12-06: inputd-0.0.6 and 0.0.7
inputd 0.0.6 is out. It fixes a few bugs, including a segfault when the uinput module is not loaded.
Update later that day: Since I just felt like it, I released inputd 0.0.7. Only small changes.

Today, I shut down dugong.forkbomb.ch, a Sun SparcStation 4 working for forkbomb.ch. It had an uptime of 553 days and hit the 32-bit limit on jiffies once. RIP. :-)

Wer ist Schuld am Mißbrauch von privaten Daten: Derjenige der sie preisgibt oder derjenige der sie mißbraucht? Ist schuld an Telefonterror, wer im Telefonbuch steht? Ist schuld an Belästigung, wer - rechtlich dazu gezwungen - Daten im Impressum einer Webseite angibt? Letzterer hat ja nicht einmal eine Wahl. Wer eine Gesellschaft möchte, in der jeder peinlich genau darauf achten muß, was er/sie über sich preisgibt, der gibt dem Opfer die Schuld. Eine solche Gesellschaft wäre aber alles, nur eines nicht: frei.
Recht hat er.
